The new colour of our popular organic cotton men’s shirt, this time in mustard / safran yellow chambray.

It’s coming with banded collar and cuffs, front pocket and woven logo on the front.

The lightweight woven fabric has a slightly different colour on the two sides, so we decided to play with it a little: having a closer look shows all it’s careful details with the contrast front and cuff plackets .

No plastic was used at the closures, all the buttons are made of the seeds of the nuts of the corozo palm tree.

  • 100% GOTS certified fabrics
  • natural corozo buttons
  • contrast plackets
  • lightweight, 120g textile
  • chest pocket
  • banded collar
  • woven cotton logo

Designed, handcut and handmade in Budapest, Hungary.

Organic fibers are from India, Benin and Tanzania, GOTS spinning, weaving and dying was proccessed in France.

CARE FOR YOUR SHIRT

WASHING

Please only wash, if needed! Washing and centrifuging affects the most the condition of garments!
Please always check the care labels of our garments. Machine wash in cold or warm water with environmentally friendly laundry detergents if possible. Conventional cotton apparel is generally treated with chemicals like sodium hydroxide, chlorine, formaldehyde, iron, tin, potassium, bromines or even halogenes to create easy care clothing that is soft, wrinkle-resistant, stain and odor resistant, fireproof, mothproof, anti-static etc.
Organic cotton is not treated with any of these toxic chemicals, that’s why it’s a little bit more sensitive for example to temperature, so in high heat it is possible for the cotton to shrink 2-5%. Shrinkage is worse for the lengths of the garments and is less noticeable for widths. To avoid it, please only wash at 30°C, inside out to care for the surface, and don’t forget to reshape it after the first wash, while it’s still dry.

DRYING

Hang dry or dry flat, if possible outside in the shade or in the Sun (depending on the design), and inside out, to keep the colour for long. Please do not use a dryer, because high temperatures could affect the fit, and as organic cotton is not treated with chemicals to be wrinkle-resistant, it may get crumpled. Save energy and use natural resources like wind and Sun to dry your garments in the garden if possible.
