Anyone who has visited us knows that we prioritize sustainability as our main consideration both in store and on the webshop - however, this can be approached from at least as many angles as there are people who visit us.
We most often mention the environmental impact side (raw materials), and the - almost - requirement that the given product comes from as close as possible and be manufactured by Hungarian micro or small enterprises.
The method of (non)packaging is also important to us - within reasonable limits. We have talked a lot and exchanged even more emails with creators about this, and there is certainly a product for which the use of foil cannot really be avoided: white prints and booklets become unsellable, dirty and greasy after just 3-4 visitors have shown interest, and throwing away half of the number of copies produced from a given print is anything but sustainable (economic sustainability). Non-transparent packaging is not an option due to the nature of paper goods, everyone wants to see what they choose - and the special foil, which in theory decomposes even in household conditions, can be imported from the USA: opinions are divided as to whether the non-degradable foil produced in the capital or the degradable counterpart transported here and produced very far away is more sustainable.
However, there is another option that we consider particularly important: those products that support foundations or civil organizations by their very creation - or those that contribute piecemeal to the operation of foundations and/or civil organizations through their sales.
We would like to introduce them to everyone now, welcome them with love!
1. Misija Design
The popular, minimalist Misija sculptures, which fit in your hand, are deserving of virtual applause. Their mission is, above all, social awareness: the vast majority of Misija figures are made in social workshops, by the hands of people with disabilities.
The ceramic figures are from the Csömör workshop of the Összefogáz az Egyenlő Osélyekért Nonprofit Kft. , and the concrete objects are from the Palota-15 Nonprofit Kft . Since 2014, all Misija products have received the Assisted Shopping trademark.
In addition, in 2015, the brand supported the MME swallow protection program and created the Misija swallow "pocket statue". For every unit sold, 300 forints from the sale of the product supports the MME swallow protection program.

2. Greenway Design
Ildi, the soul of Greenway Design, is not only a dedicated environmentalist. In addition to hand-pouring beautiful soy candles into returnable bottles, she also cares about the fate of stray dogs: Ildi and her family found our four-legged companions, Bogyó and Pici, years ago, who came to them as stray dogs and have been filling their everyday lives with happiness ever since.
THE Everyone Adopt a Puppy team has given new life to many orphaned animals, they have been doing their work continuously since 2014, and the girls are also very efficient and have excellent results in getting the dogs to new owners. Through the cooperation between the volunteer dog rescue team and Greenway, a part of the proceeds from the candles (100 HUF / candle) will support the work of MFÖEK in the long term.

3. myskin
Among müskinn's exciting projects, we would like to highlight the history of key chains and bags, which can also be found here: in 2017, müskinn and the Autistic Art Foundation collaborated to create a bag collection that reveals the visual world of the Miskolc Autistic Home drawing group.
The lines of the bags reveal the characteristics that the designers learned and adopted from the drawing techniques of autistic youth. The designs of the shapes of the objects were made in a single go, just like the drawings of the youth, in which there is no caution and no mistakes. There is only the moment of drawing, which irrevocably and definitively leaves a mark on the paper. The decorations appearing on the outer surface of the bags – which, although they have a similar character in each bag, are still different – were also born from liberated, random, confident drawings.
Each piece is unique and unrepeatable, the custom key chains are made from leftover leather.
Purchases of products from the collection support the Autistic Art Foundation.

4. Agnes of Szolno
You can get lost for hours among the beautiful prints, especially when you know that by purchasing them you are supporting the MME Bird-Friendly Garden program.
Ágnes Szolnoki began creating bird studies using watercolor technique in 2015, and she also creates art prints, booklets, and fridge magnets from her paintings. She supports MME with 300 forints from the sales of reproductions (giclée prints) of her paintings for each piece sold.

5. Rózsavölgyi Chocolate Manufactory
The Rózsavölgyi Chocolate Manufactory not only impresses chocolate lovers with its premium quality chocolates, but since 2016 it has also been a partner of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, which means that they support the Karisoke Research Center in Rwanda, founded by Dian Fossey, which works to save mountain gorillas and secure their habitat.
If you want to know more about Dian Fossey's life and the interesting but also dangerous work of the Digit Fund, visit Rwanda ;) or their website, where you can also find us.

6. Mulberry
The Eperfa games are produced in collaboration with the Hungarian Ornithological Association, the Balaton Uplands National Park, the Pilis Park Forest and the Széchenyi Mountain Children's Railway.
Their games introduce children to the world around them, helping them to love the animals, plants, buildings and vehicles in their surroundings. This way, they can learn from an early age that everyone has a responsibility for our environment. All games contribute to the development of children's skills.
Most of their products are made by people with disabilities or socially disadvantaged people, because they believe that everyone is good at something, they just need to be given the opportunity to develop their talents.
The raw material chosen was wood species that adorn parks and avenues throughout their lives, but when they grow old and fall, they become unworthily used as firewood. Except for the few that end up with us, because they are returned to the whirlwind of childhood.
