Prezent Shop Kft. implemented the project "Technology development through equipment procurement and wage subsidies at Prezent Shop Kft" with identification number VEKOP-1.2.7-20-2021-00011 between 2021.04.01 and 2022.03.31, which was 70% supported by the European Union and the Government of Hungary. Our company received HUF 11,865,698 in support under the project, within which we implemented the following developments and activities:
- Wage support for 3 employees between August 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021; - Support for the rental fee of our store located on the Buda side, next to the Elizabeth Bridge and the Rudas Baths; - Purchase of new tailoring and sewing machines; - Purchase of new IT and telecommunications equipment; - Showroom photography; - Providing the opportunity to participate in international exhibitions abroad.
The developments implemented within the project can be divided into three units:
Production
Our many years of experience in light industrial manufacturing include: design, editing, modeling, pattern making, and manufacturing. We continue to carry out these activities in our own sewing shop, as this is an affordable way to produce more product variants in smaller quantities with domestic labor - at competitive prices. The interest in domestic, traceable, high-quality products has increased significantly, and we continue to want to be one of the progressive bastions of this design and manufacturing circle.
Maximize your online sales opportunities
The 2020 pandemic has accelerated the trend of online platforms playing an increasingly important role in the lives of independent brands, sometimes even serving as an almost exclusive source of revenue. However, the most important element of online sales is no longer just the product itself, but its visual presentation.
Our website, which meets all modern needs, is ready, where, within the framework of the online showroom sub-project, we intend to show the products of the Blind Chic. brand from the past 10 years in regular monthly photo series, by comparing the former pieces with the products of our current, latest collection. The high-quality images stimulate sales and result in increased revenue. Indirectly, with competent styling, professional photographers and innovative visual elements, we can achieve the goal of reaching the largest possible potential customer base via social media platforms and relevant media.
The growth of production capacity and online sales support each other: if we have the right inventory and production at our disposal, we have the opportunity to collaborate with influencers of our target groups for an online showroom photo shoot, reaching many times the audience we reach.
Exploiting foreign, offline sales opportunities
The cancellation of the 2020 trade fair season minimized not only B2C, but also B2B relationships, as our partner stores were also forced to close, so product presentations for new collections did not take place, which resulted in a decrease in the number of foreign partners.
As part of the project, we had the opportunity to appear in person at international fairs, which is one of the most important tools for promoting trust and commitment to brands. In order to "support foreign market presence", we participated in foreign fairs and exhibitions three times in 2021. We were able to present our brand as an exhibitor at the Feschmarkt in Graz, WeFair in Linz, and Edelstoff design fair in Vienna.
We consider it a positive experience that we received invitations to other fairs on site and were able to meet potential resellers. The organization was professional at all three locations, especially during the Wefair fair, where, in addition to collecting continuous feedback, Austrian producers surprised the participants with a lunch and provided diverse programs and concerts.
