The black sheep of the Szomód lavender plantation. The plants planted in the fall of 2015 caused a huge surprise after the first flowering. Based on the inflorescence, they noticed that this was not the variety they wanted, only 20 of the planned 600 Grosso plants were produced. This was the first real sign for them of how important the diversity of nature is, that things do not always depend on them.
Its size is between Judit and Grappenhall. Its leaves are olive green, its flowers are thicker, lighter in color, and are arranged in several tiers. It tends to develop staggered flowering between the tiers. Its essential oil has a truly unique, spicy scent.
