Rosehip is one of the best-known herbs in our country. Its seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids (Omega-3 and 6) and vitamins. It is a light red oil with a soft, fruity flavor.
We can consume it internally or use it externally.
Due to its high unsaturated fatty acid and vitamin content, it contributes to maintaining our health as a post-seasoning for our dishes (soups, meats, sauces), mixed into cake batter, or drizzled on our salads.
Its vitamin E content is outstanding even among cold-pressed oils, making it an excellent skin care product. It nourishes, hydrates the skin, and restores moisture balance. It provides intensive care for UV-damaged skin, as well as skin that has been dried out, stressed, or burned from tanning. It can be mixed with lighter base oils and seed oils for skin care and massage.
It is a common ingredient in vitamin preparations in the pharmaceutical industry and in various natural products (e.g. anti-wrinkle creams) in the cosmetic industry. Its natural vitamin A content helps prevent skin aging, the natural production of collagen and elastin fibers, and cell renewal processes.
