The cocoa beans for this chocolate come from the eastern side of the Rwenzori Mountains, from small 2-3 hectare cocoa plantations mainly run by women. Its aromas are reminiscent primarily of cherry and blackcurrant. We consider ourselves not just bean-to-bar chocolate makers, but artists too – we love to entertain and surprise with our chocolates. We created this chocolate in honour of the birds of Uganda.
